Our aim is to develop a chat which will help students get quick and reliable answers from our teachers.
As even the best students can get lost when trying to solve problems on their own, the Homework Chat will help students work through the ones they get stuck on.
Students are not required to log in to Hippo Campus.org, so there is no way to track student use from the public site.
However, many home schooling families have used Hippo Campus content to supplement or guide their home curriculum, and we welcome them as users.
Hippo Campus is made possible by the members of The NROC Project, and many NROC members offer credit for courses that contain Hippo Campus content.Users do not need to register or log in to use the site. Can I use the resources you have available for my homeschoolers? Why are there answer keys available to the students for the end-of-chapter tests? The audio in some videos within the Religion course are problematic. Why aren't the lab sections in Environmental Science appearing? You cannot get credit for it since we are not a school. As an open resource for personalized learning, Hippo was designed as part of a worldwide effort to improve access to quality education for everyone. How do I get individual help with my homework assignment? Do I need to purchase all the texts that are listed? Do you know of any wet lab resources to accompany Hippo Campus content? We are not a school, so you cannot enroll in a course, but individuals are welcome to use the materials for free as study aids. Our videos make the most daunting topics easy as pie. Students love that our Interactive Practice Problems go way beyond multiple choice.Created by expert teachers and based on real-world exam questions, our Practice Problems truly challenge you to get it right, while putting the fun back in fundamentals.By creating a focused exam atmosphere, our worksheets help you buckle down to review for tests. You can print out the content that you need to learn and make use of the provided answers, complete with detailed explanations.*AP, Advanced Placement and Advanced Placement Program are registered trademarks of the College Board, which was not involved in the production of, and does not endorse, this content.Hippo is a free, core academic web site that delivers rich multimedia content--videos, animations, and simulations--on general education subjects to middle-school and high-school teachers and college professors, and their students, free of charge.Until this feature is implemented, we ensure support via email.Hippo Campus and NROC are trademarks of the Monterey Institute for Technology and Education.
